ExPros 23-CP2 is a double-ended combination instrument with a spherical end that combines the Explorer 23 and CP-2 Probe into a single instrument.
Explorer 23 is used to detect caries in tooth enamel. It is commonly used in dental practice.
Dental explorers detect small areas of the tooth where cavities can form and also collect debris between the teeth and gums.
While CP-2 offers a better assessment of gingival pocket depth by increasing tactile sensitivity.
It does not damage the surrounding tissue.
