This assortment set includes 6 different sized wedge types:

• Blue : These are medium and short wedges.
• White : They are thin, short wedges. 
• Orange : These are very thin and short wedges.
• Rosa : They are medium and long wedges.
• Violet : They are thick, long wedges.

Wooden wedges have the ability to absorb moisture and expand slightly once placed in the interdental space. This allows them to fit the teeth better, thus improving separation and isolation. 

Primarily, these small devices are used in restorative dentistry to separate teeth during filling procedures, and they also ensure a proper fit of the matrix .
