As an auxiliary tool in various procedures, although it was not originally designed for dental used. Here is how it is used:

This auxiliary tool is use for:
Used to cover the screw head in implant-supported protheses before applying the composite resin, ensuring easy access in the future.
Used to protect adjacent teeth or soft tissues during clinical procedures like sandblasting, acid etching, or bleaching.
Used for tissue management and sulcular displacement, or to temporary pack in interproximal spaces to prevent excess restorative materials from overflowing.
Used to isolate clinical field and adjacent teeth during adhesive cementation or composite restoration procedures, preventing accidental bonding to neighboring teeth.
Used as a non-stick barrier to model composites or as a spacer tool due to its excellent malleability and low surface friction.
