Misura D4 Design+

It is an instrument with two working ends for measuring the thickness of composite layers both horizontally and vertically. 

It is indicated for use after dentin layering but before composite polymerization. 

The cone-shaped working end is placed on the natural enamel of the tooth. 

This gently condenses the unpolymerized composite, leaving the perfect space for the enamel layer. 

The thicker, shorter end is placed horizontally on the margin of prepared cavity to position the tip edge against the original enamel. 

This ensures the correct amount of dentin and enamel composite is placed at the margins, resulting in accurate calibration of opaque and translucent composites.
