3M Scotchbond Universal Adhesive

A single-bottle solution that offers a simple, one-step, single-layer application without compromising bond strength.

This clinically proven and expertly reviewed dental adhesive can be used with confidence for all etching techniques in both direct and indirect dental restorations, as well as on all tooth surfaces without the need for an additional primer.

It bonds to all dental surfaces, including enamel, dentin, glass ceramics, zirconia, noble and non-precious alloys, and composites. When combined with the 3M Scotchbond Universal DCA Dual-Cure Activator, Scotchbond Universal Adhesive is compatible with all resin cements, core build-up materials, and even self-curing composites. Its chemistry optimizes the ratios of 3M's Vitrebond copolymer, HEMA, and water. This reduces technique sensitivity during the restorative procedure, provides consistent bond strength, and results in virtually no post-operative sensitivity in total-etch, selective-etch, and self-etch techniques.

Virtually no post-operative sensitivity: An evaluation conducted by 120 dentists using different techniques found sensitivity rates of 0.4% for total-etch, 0.0% for selective-etch, and 0.06% for self-etch.
